Applications to join the Loreburn Lettings register are made online, allowing you to update and manage your application at any time.
Once registered, you may express an interest, or ‘bid’ on properties that are advertised and available for letting.

You will need to complete the online registration form. This will take around 30 minutes. You can opt to ‘finish later’ and return to it, but you must do this within 10 days. Otherwise, your information will not be held and you will need to start again.
You will need:
• A current email address
• Previous 5 year address/tenancy history for all members of your household
• Photographic proof of identity
• Proof of address
Depending on your circumstances, you may also be required to provide supporting evidence for your application, for example:
• Proof of household income
• An Occupational Therapist Assessment
• Maternity Certificate (MATB1)
• Notice to Quit
• Child Access (minimum 3 nights per week)
Evidence can be uploaded as a document or photograph via the "Supporting Evidence" section of the online application form or emailed to [email protected].
If you wish to post documents to us please send copies only (no original documents) to our Freepost address LOREBURN HOUSING ASSOCIATION.
Banding
Once registered your application will be assessed and you will be provisionally awarded one of 4 priority bandings:
- Platinum – Urgent need for housing
- Gold – High need for housing
- Silver – Medium need for housing
- Bronze – Low need or adequately housed
Property Adverts
Available properties are advertised at 12 noon on:
- Mondays
- Wednesdays
- Fridays
Please ensure that you read the adverts carefully before bidding. It is important that you only bid for properties that you are likely to accept if an offer is made.
Housing Options
Unfortunately, demand for homes is often greater than the supply and we cannot accommodate every applicant who bids for a property. There may be occasions when bids are high, especially in areas of high demand.
There are other housing options within Dumfries & Galloway should you wish to consider alternatives.
If your housing circumstances are an emergency, for reasons such as homelessness, threat of becoming homeless, or you are experiencing domestic abuse, violence or serious harassment, you should contact Dumfries & Galloway Homeless Department who will be able to offer you advice about your housing options.
